A Sunday workshop at our studio in Vanguard Court, Peckham (SE5 8QT)
11am- 5.30pm
This taster day will be an informal and fun introduction to the main hand-building techniques that Jode (Pankhurst) uses to make her work and also a chance to use a wheel to throw a piece with Jess (Florence). We will cover slab building, pinching, press moulding and throwing on the wheel. You can expect to make at least 4 finished pieces over the course of the day. This day workshop is suitable for beginners.
There are only four places on each workshop so you can expect lots of one-to-one guided tuition throughout the day. Morning pastries will be served from local legends, TOAD bakery and we will break for lunch.
Finish the day selecting your preferred glaze finishes for each piece. We will glaze these for you once bisque fired. The finished items will be ready to collect (or we can post to you) around 3 weeks later
Once booked on, we will send out a card and personalised ceramic token (pictured) to be cashed in on the day you have booked.
(PLEASE NOTE ACCESS: Our studio is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. It takes place in a studio on the third floor of a building with an external staircase and no lift)
